Should I do what I love?
Jan 19 2007, 10:49 AM EST
You have posted some interesting thoughts but you should have carried your Title of your book out to - Should I do what I love or love what I do?
However we do not know who we are and we are lost in this sea of drowning water. This material world provides some lessons for us , but mostly negative . We can see things such as a cup of tea - is it half full or half empty? While I see my cup runnith over? I am not so much into the material aspects of this material world but I have been on a or my Spiritual Journey for 25 years. It has been an awesome adventure which tintalizies the soul and Spirit. I have found out I am a Spiritual Being haveing a human experience? Need I say more?

Thanks for your input! Neither I nor the other moderators here who add content to this site are the authors of this book, however. I just wanted to clarify that. We're adding content to this site which is based on a book by Katy McColl.

I look forward to more input from you, though-- thanks for sharing!

Hi Babalwa - I didn't write a book but I may have to - I just made a comment in reguards to the title Should I do what I love?
We are much more than we give our selves credit for - Hear what Nelson Mendela has to say - We think therefore we are? But we think of ourselves much less than we truly are? We are a jewel burning in the darkness, a light shining for all to see - when we find out just who we are?
Enough said for now?
May your Blessings be realized?

Hi Babalwa,

The author of the book does not participate here. However, we moderators are here to help guide others around the site. What facts are you in search of? How can we help?

I do not have much space to provide a very provoicative thought, but I shall try.I wish to bring up Helen Keller - a blind - deaf person , with major handicaps. Who went on to lead an inspiring life? We should be so productive in our lives without handicaps? We do not know who we are - perhaps Helen Keller was forunate, in that she did not have the negative aspects of life. That would take her away from learning who she truly was? Read her life story to gain some insight? She was on here Spiritual Journey and learned much as a Spiritual Being having a humn experience? What is this thing called life? Is a much more deeper question than your book Re:Should I do what I Love? That is a deeper question from my perspective - What is this thing called Life? Here are some entertaing questions - are we called to a mission or purpose in our lives? What is your potential? Who are you?
The answer to these provacative questions are not found in our everyday journey of learning. They are not found in the everyday school of hard knocks or peaks ans valleys?
There are a number of different worlds out there - most people are in the material world where money plays a strong part of a persons life? You work for someone else to provide for the simply things of life - food, shelter, clothi ng,. We become so busy in trying to keep up to the Jones we don't have time for the realy important things in life? Trying to find out who we are?
For when we find out who we are ? We shall find out our truth and our truth shall set us free from all the limitations we and others have placed before us?
I implore you to start right now to examine your situation and the questions I have placed before? May your Blessings be realized?

Sage of this Age - would like to give his perspective on the above subject. For all of life is the Breeding ground for Love - a Loving Kindness, concern, compassion for everyone and everything, not just a job or vocation? As you can tell the Sage of this Age is in a Higher Consciousness amd has a different perspective on things? 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

look, I do what I love I do poetry, art, dabble in the metaphysics- i write, i help people i learned from my parents that money means crap. Excuse me for that. They worked themselves down and have only security. However as a artist, mother student, wife we have to pay some bills. Doing what you love will not always fulfill that need. one has to find a happy medium, isuppose. I haven't found it yet.... Do you find this valuable?
